(Stockholm, Sweden): Bonniers, (1989). First edition. Presentation copy, inscribed by the author to Robert Bly and his wife on the front free endpaper: "For Robert and Ruth with love from Tomas." Below this inscription is a portrait of a man with the caption "I have not read this book . . ." Bly translated three of Tranströmer's books, including his first book under Bly's Seventies Press imprint. In 2001, Bonniers published the correspondence between Tranströmer and Bly, a twenty-six-year span of correspondence from 1965-1991. Tranströmer won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2011.
