The Standard Cattle Guard Co. was incorporated in Birmingham in 1905, Samuel Abernathy, Pres. An advertisement for the Abernathy Cattle Guard appears in a 1907 Railway Age magazine. A RARE piece of railroad ephemera, not found at OCLC, no other records found for the company or its cattle guards found online. 12 1/4" x 15".
