Vintage original film script, 11 x 8 1/2" (28 x 22 cm.), leatherette wrappers, brad bound, mimeograph, 183 pp. Designated as Final Draft and dated January, 1980. Yapped edges of covers lightly creased. Script has on title page the name of Phil Leto, who was the film's hair stylist. A number of pages have penciled markings but no notes. Just about fine in near fine wrappers.

An emotionally devastating neo-noir movie, with a letter perfect performance from Treat Williams in the titular role of Danny Ciello, a young cop who sees corruption around him and eventually destroys the lives of all his friends and partners, basically out of a sense of Catholic guilt. The authorities initially promise to protect him and his partners but eventually they keep none of those promises. Spicer, p. 434.
