Vol. 1: (18), [1-3], 4-72, (10), [1]-227, (19)pp. with engraved title, frontispiece, separate title page, 10 plates as called for plus one not mentioned in the Directions to the Binder ("Doorway to Oratory"). Vol 2: (2), [1-3], 4-304, (40)pp, with engraved title, frontispiece, and 49 plates. In total, 63 plates as called for in Directions to the Binder, plus one other. Recent period binding, very well done in quarter calf and marbled paper over boards. Bookplate on front pastedowns. Binding fine, internally near fine with some age toning and light foxing to the plate margins.

§ A handsome copy of Brayley's detailed study of the history, architecture, and monuments of Westminster Abbey. Illustrated by John Preston Neale. Volume 1 includes "An Historical and Architectural Account of King Henry the Seventh's Chapel" with separate title page and pagination, as issued.
