Pressmen of Houghton's Riverside Press Celebrate Their Retiring Foreman with an Evening of Speeches and Song and a Watch, Cambridge, 1865

Saddle-stitched pamphlet, 6 x 9.25 inches, 16 pages; stained and chipped as visible in scans, front wrap and first leaf separated but present; fair condition only.

An unusual intimate view of the intellectual life of the pressmen at Houghton and of the regard in which they held their work. Joshua Wilson was foreman for the first thirteen years of the Riverside Press, and his co-workers clearly had a high opinion of him.

WorldCat locates only three copies: the Library of Congress, the Massachusetts Historical Society and Columbia.
