Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo., 287pp. Sharp Stated First Edition of this quite scarce Crime Club title.Originally published by Harrap in the UK with the title, "Murder Most Artistic". Bound in orange cloth with titles in black on and spine. Square, tight and clean throughout save some off-setting and a couple of spots on the paste-downs. No foxing or toning to pages. Some wear to the spine ends. Shelf-wear and a touch of toning to bottom edges. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($2.00), has wear to edges with a couple of tiny nicks and closed tears. Moderate soiling to rear cover. Still fresh and bright and almost impossible to find in any condition. A very pretty collectable copy. (Hubin, p.169).
