Three volumes; quartos (25cm.); contemporary paste-paper card wrappers backed in decorative paper printed in bright orange and red, manuscript spine titling; Vol. II lacks final blank, else collated complete; frontispieces in earliest two volumes including folding portrait to the first, woodcut initials, head- and tail-pieces throughout. Wrappers rather dust-soiled and a bit worn, Vol. I textblock separating from binding but still secured along rear hinge, else a Very Good, quite attractive set, contents clean and sound and edges pleasingly deckled.

Series of lessons on a variety of topics published over the course of fifteen years by the Italian jurist and naturalist Giuseppe Averani (1662-1738).
