To leverage the product's position on the market Colgate utilized the use of coupons and enticing premiums - to be had at a discount, or for free, upon collection and redemption of enough coupons. The current publications advertised just such premiums, ranging from Turkish towels to pocket watches and from jewelry and glassware to rollerskates and cooking utensils.
