Hardcover. 36p., some unopened, light toning to untrimmed edges, hand-numbered #103/143 copies signed by the poet, errata slip laid-in, sewn text block bound in green and black patterned boards with black cloth spine and faded gilt titles. Leonard was an agoraphobic, partly self-educated educator who managed to attend Harvard, Boston University and Columbia University. Remembered for a cycle of 250 sonnets on his failed marriage, and for his autobiography "The Locomotive-God," wherein he recounts the origin of his malady.
