Cincinnati: A.C. Peters & Brother, 1862. Softcover. Very Good. First edition. Lithograph by Thomas Sinclair. Folio. 5pp. Wrappers. Notched and worn along the spine from once being bound within an album, scattered foxing, toning, and offsetting throughout, still a very good copy. For voice and piano. Plate imprint, "We were very poor - 3394 - 4." The front cover states, "To the members of the Cincinnati Sketch Club," which was actually a periodical called *The Sketch Club*, which was supported by local artists and patrons, and edited by W.W. Fosdick. This song was published the year Fosdick passed away; he is best remembered for his poem "Aura Lea," which was set to music by George R. Poulton. This piece is unrecorded by *OCLC* and appears to be equally scarce in the trade.
