Europe, 1855-1875. Mid 19th century half leather.. Very good.. Thick 8vo. A remarkable collection of uncommon works on military medicine in French, Italian, German, and Dutch covering gunshot wounds, hospitals, the Red Cross, Florence Nightingale, ambulances, first aid, etc. Several have the ownership marks of Felix Hippolyte Larrey and numerous presentation inscriptions from their respective authors.
