Blue paper covers once sealed by two stamps with an oval Columbus, GA. stamp on the back cover. A white mailing label addressed to Concord Gin & Whse Co. Concord, Ga is affixed to the back cover. "Americus" written in pencil several times over the typed portion of the label. Illustrated with a small photograph of the editor, photograph of the President of the Company R. W. Swope, A small picture of the Superintendent Jim Freeman, and a couple illustrations of the equipment.

From the first paragraph (truncated) on page 1, "The Cen-Tennial Accelerator is edited and composed in mixed veins of fun and seriousness, and, frankly, as an advertisement for our Company.." From Columbus State Archives: The Centennial Cotton Gin Company was founded in 1876, the year of the U.S. Centennial . It moved to Columbus, Georgia in 1921. (Inventory #: 33242)
