Fairfield, Connecticut, 1977. Unbound. Near Fine. Autograph Postcard Signed. Measuring 5½" x 3¼", printed with Warren's Fairfield address and addressed in his hand. Postally used and ink slightly blurred (but certainly legible), near fine. Dated April 12, 1977, the postcard reads: "Dear Mr. G— & Miss C—, I deeply appreciate your invitation, but it simply isn't going to work out for me. With luck, I'll then be found in the woods wrestling with a book. Sincerely / Robert Penn Warren." A brief note with a nice literary sentiment. (Inventory #: 595524)
