Paris: Amedee Bedelet, n.d.. Undated, but published in the mid-19th century, when transition to steam was everywhere. The eleven color lithographs picture and identify many different sorts of merchant and naval vessels, under sail, steam, and both (or neither). This is a beautiful gem of a book, in fine condition, with the full-page chromolithographs fresh and clean. It is also something of a rarity, with Worldcat showing only a single library holding a copy. Fine condition, bound in full crimson morocco, rebacked to match..
