Scarce signed limited edition of these seven poems by seven women poets, additionally inscribed by contributing poet and binder/designer Balk to American poet Stanley Plumly, her teacher at the Iowa Writer's Workshop - one of just 36 copies. Other contributing poets include Lisa Lewis, Moira Belcher, Jane Eklund, Laurel Black, Connie Corzilius, and Cindy Nichols. Balk's 1985 solo collection, also titled BINDWEED after the same poem included here, won the Walt Whitman Award for a first book of poetry. 10'' x 6.5''. Original cream cloth.
