Originally published earlier in 1954 in the UK by Gollancz under the title Who Lie in Gaol. Bound in gray cloth with lettering in red on spine. Square, tight and clean throughout save a small name stamp on the front end-paper and a hint of page toning. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, ($2.50), has a couple of tiny nicks to the spine ends and one or two miniscule closed edge-tears. Still quite fresh and bright. Made into the 1953 film, The Weak and the Wicked starring Glynis Johns. A very pretty collectable copy.
