Ravensburg, Germany: Otto Maier Verlag. A "Bonnie Barn" Import, 1960. Sleeve. Fine. A craft kit that introduced children of the mid-20th century to a popular craft of the Victorian period. N.d., circa 1960. Oblong sleeve, 13 by 19 cm. 18 leaves, six of which are meant to serve as backing paper, and a dozen, with strips to be used in the weaving in and out, plus a long metal implement to use in weaving. Directions on back of sleeve. Both types of sheets, the "warps", and the "wefts", are on glossy paper, in a variety of colors -- red, blue, green, yellow, black and white -- allowing for a wide variety of color schemes. No copies on OCLC First Search, but also the sort of thing that might not be listed there. Nor could we locate copies of this through other means. We are confident that few out there, wherever they are, would surpass ours in terms of condition. Ours is unused and in fine condition -- we presume the kit is complete.
