By Harris, Stefan; [Crocker, Milton G.]
[n.p.]: [n.p.], 1972. Very good plus.. Inscribed first edition of this rare poetry collection by a little-used pseudonym of Milton Crocker, whose other work appears under the name Jack Peachum. A longtime resident of Virginia, "Jack Peachum" (Crocker) was awarded the 2021 Oakley Hall Literary Prize, created to honor writers in the Warren County region. An online biography apparently written by the poet identifies him as the author of several chapbooks and the novel TEMPEST. "He confesses: 'I am very fond of conceits!'" 8.5'' x 5.5''. Original saddle-stapled black and white wrappers. 32 pages. Inscribed on title page by "Stefan Harris (Milton G. Crocker)" and dated 1/1/72. Light edgewear and toning.
