Japan, 1975. Silk. Very Good +. SIGNED BY LEGENDARY JAPANESE GRAPHIC DESIGNER IKKO TANAKA (1930-2002) IN BOTH JAPANESE AND ENGLISH on the half-title. A very presentable copy to boot of the 1975 1st edition. Tight and VG in its dark-silk boards, with just a bit of spotting and soiling along the panels and light dog-earing to a dozen or so of the pages Text almost exclusively in Japanese, save for the captions and an Introduction of sorts by Lou Dorfsman (which are in English). Bright, vibrant color and black-and-white illustrations throughout, which showcase Tanaka's electric, original work. Quarto, also includes the publisher's sturdy, pictorial slipcase, which shows some foxing along the top-edges.
