A seemingly unrecorded guide and map to Fort Richardson, located near Anchorage, Alaska. The fort opened in 1941 as the headquarters for the United States Army in Alaska. For a brief time, Fort Richardson served as a holding center for fifteen Japanese American internee families. The present guide "was prepared primarily for the information and guidance of military personnel new to Fort Richardson.
