Originally published in the UK by Ward, Lock in 1924 and then in the US by Doubleday in 1929. Square, tight and clean throughout with minor wear to the spine ends and edges. Spine cloth with shallow vertical crease. Small dent in the front board surface. Ownership stamp as well as a written name and address on the front paste-down. Little if any toning and no foxing. A unclipped, though unpriced, dust-jacket has a couple of tiny nicks to the spine ends, edges and tips. A few short closed tears. Rubbing to folds. Still bright and complete and uncommon in any condition. A pretty collectable copy at a great price. (Hubin, p.411).
