Urbana, Illinois: ACCENT, 1945. Original wraps. Very Good. 4 early isues of Accent, 3 from 1943, 1 from 1945. Impressive literary quarterly from the 1940s and '50s, issued out of Urbana, Illinois. These 4 issues, all solid and VG in their stapled wrappers, show very light wear, except for Summer 1943, which does have a bit of chipping and 1" of loss along the spine crown. Contributors include E.E. Cummings, Franz Kafka, Henry Miller, Jean Cocteau, Paul Valery, Apollinaire and Rainer Maria Rilke, among others. And the 4 issues specifically are: Summer 1943, Autumn 1943, Winter 1943 and Summer 1945.
