(ca 1920); box - 5 1/4 x 6 3/4 x 1, paper over card stock, with a large chromolithographed illustration, featuring a Civil War scene; light wear and age-toning - in very good condition; cards very good to near fine, with minor wear; booklet - 3 1/2 x 4 1/4, pp. [4], mild wear and creasing - very good. First introduced by Parker Brothers in 1890, the simple question-and-answer trivia game was marketed as "a new, instructive game for the home or the schoolroom" and, in its various editions, included up-to-date historical facts (in this edition the last question was about Woodrow Wilson and WWI).
