At the time the current documents were issued, at the tail end of the Korean War and on the eve of the Vietnam War, the ship made numerous runs between several West Coast ports and Japan and Korea, transporting men and material and supporting the United Nations forces. The lists included descriptions and inventory of products and meals, recipes, menus for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and so on.
