S. l.: s. n., 1900. Good. A set of 14 paper-and-card stock, die-cut figures, n. d. (late 19th- / early 20th- century); 11 thin pieces of wire to attach to verso and move the figures upright; various sizes, approximately 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 and smaller; lithographed paper pasted on carrd stock backing; small loss of paper to base of a few of the figures; one of them with a slight crack through middle; a bit of age-toning; in good to very good condition. A lovely theater play set, possibly assembled at home by the previous owner, it projected quite the Shakespearean air and included 12 characters and two props - a stove, with food cooking, and a grave marker in the shape of a cross.
