[iv], 246, [1] pp. Bound in publisher's black paper-covered boards over black spine cloth stamped in yellow, white and red. Yellow topstain and endpapers. Near Fine with slight lean to spine and softening at head and tail, light fading to boards, and shallow scratch to rear board. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with light rubbing, toning, and edgewear, soiling to upper spine panel, and several tape repairs to verso edges. Bookseller card laid in.
The laid-in card was printed by Kroch's and Brentano's, a prominent bookstore in Chicago ("The World's Largest"). The card states that this is "A first edition, autographed by the author especially for the members of the First Edition Circle.
