Illustrated. FIRST EDITION. A self-published book of Afghan recipes, interspersed with popular expat dishes, including afghan pilau, boulanne, Turkish delight candy, Arabian vine leaves, Afghan almond cake, coconut pecan fingers, tomato butter, jing dahn, samosas and others. Recipes are arranged by months of the year. The leaf containing information about a Thanksgiving turkey is a cancel, replacing an earlier leaf that had been printed upside down (the original leaf remains in place). Some dog ears and bumping to corners, otherwise generally very good or better. Inscribed by the author on the front wrapper interior panel. Scarce. [OCLC locates nine copies].
