Wood engraved illustrations throughout, and chromo-lithographically illustrated wrappers. Publication date from front wrapper panel. FIRST EDITION. A small but beautifully produced promotional cookbook, advertising the full line of iron ware kitchenware from the St. Louis Stamping Co. Includes testimonials, recipes, and lots of illustrations of the many products they produced. The illustrated wrappers depict a woman in her kitchen admiring her Iron Ware on the front panel, and, a young boy fishing with an Iron Ware pail at his side. Some closed wormholes to leaves at rear, not affecting text. Otherwise, near fine in near fine wrappers. The rear wrapper panel bears the stamp of "Wm. Bischof, Wholesale and Retail Hardware, 169 Main Street, Nebraska City, Neb."[Cagle 956; Wheaton & Kelly 2489; Axford 190].
