The Letter reads: My Dear Malespine, I believe I have already written thanking you for the elegant fashion with which you repaired the injustice committed by some Frenchmen. I hope to see you in Lyon in Autumn or in the Winter. While awaiting that pleasure, I pray you will accept my firm handshake. Your friend, Marinetti Emile Malespine (1890-1952) was a writer and publisher based in Lyon, best known as the editor of Manometre, and avant-garde journal published in Lyon from 1922 to 1928.
