A Jewish community cookbook from Temple Society of Concord, established in 1839, and now known as Temple Concord, a Reform Jewish congregation and synagogue in Syracuse, New York, one of the oldest Jewish congregations in America. Marilla Goldstein Guttman (1862-1922) was the wife of Dr. Adolph Guttman, the leader of the congregation from 1883-1918. His tenure was a time of great accomplishment for the Temple, including the building of a new sanctuary, designed by architect Arnold Brunner and dedicated in 1911. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. Near fine in publisher's white oil cloth binding, titled in black.
