DeFuniak Springs, Fla: [the club], 1923. Octavo-sized book, cord-tied in wrappers (22 x 14.5 cm.), [1], 20 pages. Illustrated with four full-page photographs and one woodcut tail-piece. Title and publication information from wrapper. FIRST EDITION. A community cookbook from DeFuniak Springs, a Florida Panhandle town northeast of Pensacola. The short recipes, most attributed, are presented in two columns. While the book includes no title page or explanatory text, it does contain photographs of the town, including the Railway Depot (with flower garden credited to the Woman's Club), McHwain Hall at the college and Walton County High School, and the Chautauqua Auditorium on the banks of Lake Park. Text block toned, otherwise clean and sound. In publisher's dark grey wrappers, titled and decorated in yellow, and tied with a yellow cord. Near fine. Unrecorded.
