Printer information from wrapper. Second Edition, Revised, following the original publication of 1880. A community cookbook from the Orange County, N.Y. hamlet of Washingtonville, with recipes in narrative form and mostly attributed. The advertisements, mostly for businesses in the larger towns of Newburgh or Middletown, are handsomely designed, with some illustrated. Some very light discoloration to a few early pages; otherwise internally clean and sound. In printed plain paper wrappers over brown cloth. Some staining to wrapper panels, and two small chips to rear panel. Near very good. Very scarce. [OCLC locates no copies; Cook, page 178 records a copy of this revised edition in a bookseller's catalogue; not in Brown].
