"War Economy Standards" printing. 8vo; 148 numbered b&w photographic full page illustrations with a facing page of text; black stamped textured boards, lettering in green, lighthouse decoration on front in gilt; untrimmed top and fore edge; lightly sunned spine; near fine. The author, Marion J. Bradshaw, was a professor of the Philosophy of Religion at the Bangor Theological Seminary, Bangor, Maine. The seminary was ecumenical and in the tradition of the Congregational tradition of the United Church of Christ. It was founded in 1814 and closed in 2013 after 199 years. The book is a celebration of the state of Maine in photographs and text.
