Aue: Verlag Paul Baumann, n.d. Three different versions of this rare and important twentieth-century contribution to colour theory, the work of the artist and theorist Otto Prase. Attempts were made to reissue the work after the war but abandoned the effort when they were unable to reproduce the colours in the same quality. The rarity of all the editions must be ascribed to their having been heavily used. In fine condition. The first version, which is in a completely different format from later ones, is rare, with OCLC listing only 2 copies in the U.S., at Yale and U. Wisconsin at Madison, and a copy in Basel of the second and third versions. There were several later editions, but in different formats, as here.
