One of 500 numbered copies of a rare artist’s book by Zobernig (b. 1958); WorldCat records a single copy in North America. It was published for the 1992 Steirischer Herbst, organized by the Grazer Kunstverein project Compiled by artist Mathias Poledna (b. 1965), the book consists of photocopies of the first page of each country’s entry in the Encyclopedia Britannica, followed by articles on “art.” Letters spelling out “AMERIKANER” are interspersed throughout.
A fine copy, numbered in marker on the back cover, ours no. 136.
