Small pamphlet of psalms written, originally for a class assignment, by students of the Cook Christian Training School, an interdenominational school "specifically for Indians and available to every tribe for adult students who desire to become religious leaders among their own people," per the "Foreword" to the pamphlet. Each psalm is followed by the author's name and tribe (with contributions by Hopi, Omaha, Papago, Pima, Navajo, and Maricopa students) and accompanied by illustrations of scenes from American Indian life in the Southwest.
