Inscription of "Doctor R C Randolph, New Market Va." written in pencil on the right front flyleaf. "Robert Randolph New Market" written in pencil top of title page. An old book store ticket from "Robert Bell Bookseller and Stationer Alexandria Virginia" located in the upper left corner of front paste down. Dr. R. C. Randolph's papers are archived at the University of Virginia.
