Chicago, Illinois: Northwestern Yeast Company, 1920. Very good to near-fine.. Advertising booklet for "Yeast Foam Tablets", a yeast-based health supplement marketed as a panacea and cure-all for everything from colds and grippe to dull complexion, low appetite, and indigestion. Slightly reminiscent of pre-1906 patent medicines and snake oil salesmen, but different in that it capitalizes on the new influx of yeast into the health food market in the 1910s and 1920s. Features an illustration of a beautiful woman in the bloom of youth on the front, and smaller illustrations of men and women in everyday activities inside. Folding pamphlet measuring approx.
