EXTREMELY PRETTY CONTEMPORARY PEBBLE-GRAIN RED MOROCCO, GILT, covers framed by repeating oak leaf and acorn roll enclosed by plain rules and dogtooth roll, raised bands, spine gilt in compartments with fleuron centerpiece and scrolling cornerpieces, gilt lettering, gilt-rolled turn-ins, all edges gilt. With approximately 900 steel engravings and woodcuts, as called for; many of these full-page, consisting of views, characters in costume, stage settings, etc.
