Paris: Librairie française et anglaise de Truchy, 1836. The second edition. A stunning little book, still in its fragile boards and with the brightly coloured plates accompanied by a varied use of typography, with the first sixteen pages on pink paper, devoted to different alphabets, and with the publisher's catalogue at the back printed on yellow paper. Despite a little wear to the boards, a fine copy. OCLC lists Indiana,Nottingham, Lyon, BN, Senckenberg and 3 copies of the first edition.
