Unrecorded promotional pamphlet for a drug addiction sanitarium in Houston, Texas, located at its first location at 1316 Boulevard in the Heights. The clinic was managed by Dr. Edward Purdy, and specifically aimed at opiate addiction, though Purdy also devotes a paragraph to "Cannabis Indica, Indian Hemp, Hashish," noting that "Cannabis Indica, as we have it in this country, is positively not a habit-forming drug.
