Beautiful set of two maps; one depicting the western hemisphere and one depicting the eastern hemisphere. The western hemisphere map shows North and South America, as well as the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans - including the Azores and Cape Verde islands, and the South Seas. The eastern hemisphere map shows Africa, Europe Asia, and Australia. Both maps were engraved by J. & C. Walker, and feature information on world population by continent, religions, animals, land surface area and highest (truncated) mountains. In very good conditon.
