Mexico City: May 31, 1820. Very good.. [4]pp., on a bifolium. Contemporary manuscript rubric and annotation on second leaf recto. Light dust soiling, a bit of wear at corners. The Indians of Totomechuacan, province of Puebla, have petitioned to be exempt from paying two annual taxes, for 'Ministoros y Hospital" and for community property, if they are employed working for the government. Their petition is approved and the exemption is extended to all Native Mexicans so employed. Not in Medina Mexico or Garritz; OCLC locates one copy, at the JCB. (Inventory #: 5756)
