Octavo: iv, ii, 196 pp. with 9 plates, 2 large folding maps, and numerous textual figures and diagrams. Full brown cloth binding, with a gilt-stamped black leather spine label. Faint dampstain along the fore-edge of a few leaves and the first plate. The spine is darkened just a touch, with some mild wear to the (truncated) corners and tips; otherwise very good.
