Peel, a lifelong player who lent his name to both tournaments and terms of the sport. Croquet enjoyed a resurgence in the Edwardian era during which this book was printed, and the Croquet Association continues as the official governing body of English croquet. Slazenger’s manufactured and sold sporting equipment, particularly for tennis and croquet. The book contains ads before and after the regulations and diagrams explaining the game. ~~A scarce copy with only one in OCLC as of 5/23/2025~~.
