The book is concerned with women's health in relation to what women wear. In particular, Ecob was very firm on the idea that corsets and tight items of underclothing were unhealthy. Small octavo: 253, [3] pp. with a frontispiece and numerous diagrams and illustrations of more comfortable styles of dress for women. Original blue cloth binding, with gilt-stamped titles and decorations. Mild staining to the fore-edge. The spine is a trifle toned, with some wear to the (truncated)
