This is Vol. 49, No. 1R in a series of promotional booklets titled "Stitch in Time", offering sewing tips and tricks for crafters. This example, which focuses on sewing clothes for toddlers, is geared towards parents and educators. It begins by explaining the importance of clothing in early physical and psychological development (learning to dress oneself, developing independence) and gives detailed instructions for adults on how to construct and sew clothing for little ones with diagrams. Topics include fabric and notions selection, making collars and edging, casings, growth allowance techniques decoration ideas, smocking, appliqué, and specific stitching. Includes sewing projects for playtime as well on the lower wrapper (soft fabric books, kites, puppets, wall hangings, and more). Single vol.
