No Place (San Francisco) No Date (Circa 1977-1984) : (Sutro Co-Ed Bath House) Typewritten. Near Fine. One Page. One sheet, mimeograph, 8 1/2" x 11", Near Fine, slight browning at edges. The sheet lists 9 rules of the bath house in a rather humorous but no-nonsense way. The Sutro Bath House was founded in 1974 at 312 Valencia Street in San Francisco, and in 1977 moved to 1015 Folsom in the South of Market neighborhood, ultimately closing in 1984 at the height of the AIDS crisis. It was not associated with the Sutro Baths built by Adolph Sutro. Not strictly a gay male establishment, it regularly featured nights for bisexual male and female couples. A RARE (truncated)
