1912. Large oblong folio. Japanese style lacquered covers inland with mother of pearl in the design of a bird and a snake. Inside includes a water color of Mount Fuji & irises. Some cracks in the cover and staining but otherwise in very good condition. Photos start with portraits of the likely owner, a German commander. 129 photographs (4 large 9 x 11 1/2"), arranged and mounted in a cream leaf photo album.
