Very good book, with a couple of small tears to cloth at rear joint of spine, protected by some clear tape, very light rubbing to spine ends, Post-it notes to front free endpaper listing signatures, and some light pink staining to p. 344; near fine unclipped dust jacket, with light toning to spine, a bit of wrinkling to spine ends, small area of light soiling to rear panel, and lightly nicked corners. Yogi Berra played eighteen seasons with the New York Yankees, winning an incredible ten World Series titles. Winner of three AL MVPs and recognized as one of the greatest catchers of all-time, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1972. Whitey Ford played all 16 seasons of his MLB career with the Yankees (1950, 1953-1967) and won six World Series titles. Ford was selected as an All-Star ten times and holds numerous Yankees records, including career wins, shutouts, and games started. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974, along with his close friend and teammate, Mickey Mantle. Billy Martin won five World Series titles with the Yankees, four as a player (1951-1953, 1956), and one as a manager (1977).
